Everlands, a turn-based game based on strategy, involves the command of a group of “good” animals versus a group of “evil” animals. There are, however, ways to convert evil animals to good, and vice-versa. Each animal unit has a unique health statistic, damage/strength statistic, and a specific attack capability in surrounding hex spaces.

Every animal has their unique abilities. Your aim is to control over half of the board after the game is done. Everlands has clear directions and a good tutorial mode so you can learn to play fast which is unusual for an Android game. A hexagonal tile grid is used for the game’s graphics (with a unique design for each scene) plus the audio has corresponding sounds based on the selection and the introduction music has a good, relaxing tune.

Alchemy Classic

Alchemy Classic

Alchemy Classic [by NIAsoft] game for Android is a remake of an old MS-Dos game “Alchemy”. This is one of the most downloaded puzzle games for android, but it really doesn’t require much brain work to play it. The aim in this game is to create all 188 elements, by mixing the ones you already have. The mixing process is quite informative and slightly addictive. To me the game didn’t seem so hard to play but required quite some time to finish.

Asphalt 5 HD is probably one of the best looking games for Android available on the Market. It is developer by Gameloft, one of the biggest mobile game developers. You will only be able to play the game on a high-end Android device like Nexus One, HTC Desire, Droids, Galaxy S line and other phone in the same specification bracket. The game is obviously a racing game, but it has a lot of arcade and action aspects. In this game you are able to smash your enemies different ways like in Burnout game for PlayStation. This game is also a great show-off material to show what your phone is capable off.

EVAC HD

EVAC HD

EVAC HD is a higher resolution android game of EVAC, meaning it looks better higher-resolution devices like HTC Desire, Droid, Droid 2 etc. EVAC is very similar to the way Pac-Man is played with some upgrades. You navigate Pinky, the little pink block, and try to get through the maze eating all the light-balls along your way. When the last one is eaten, a door opens that lets you out of the maze. This would be too easy, of course, so you are always being chased by evil little red-boxes send by their master Shadow Box.
