The aim of the game is to complete quests, gain experience, improve skills and advance your character to higher levels. Just like in a proper MMORPG on PC you get to battle creatures and fellow players. You do this by drawing symbols from “The Book of Curses” and thus casting various spells on your enemies or blessings to help fellow guild members. Aside from experience, you also get money and other items, which can be used for trade later.

Cestos 2: Party Time

Cestos 2: Party Time

Cestos 2: Party Time [by Chicken Brick Studios] is just awesome. The first ‘multiplayer’ game I’ve ever played on my Droid and I love it. Cestos 2 is definitely the game you should demonstrate when someone asks you about multiplayer gaming on Aandroid. Compared to Cestos 1, the sequel has much better graphics and feels polished and all in all perfected. Some people still think the original Cestos game is better judging by the comments. I haven’t played Cestos one yet, but GamerX tells me Cestos two is definitely a lot better. Since this game uses vectors and vectors are physics you could call Cestos 2 a casual multiplayer vector-physics game.

Cestos

Cestos is one of the first multi-player games for android (if not the first, actually), developed by Chicken Brick Studios. The game is quite simple – you have to knock your opponent’s marbles in pits and don’t let your own fall. Game is turn based, the turns are simultaneous. Basic stage, “Black Hole”, is intended for 1v1 action and players get 3 marbles each. Some maps can support up to 4 players playing at once.

Tap Play, wait a few seconds, and you are now matched with an enemy. As you notice from the screenshot above, your “avatars” are customizable, and you will get more options to choose from as you get more experience and level-up.
